| Soda Springs is on the west side of Monache Meadows at the base of monache Mountain (which appears to be a old conder cone). Monache Meadows is part of a huge meadows complex west of the the Sierra crest. At one time cattle use to be grzed in these meadows. This picture is looking almost due north towards a landing strip. This area is accesible by four-wheel drive roads. |
