Looking along the north from Coppermine Pass (11,960'+) along Glacier Ridge. There is still evidence of the mining operation that was carried out here in 1919. The darker areas just right of center is the opening of a pit that was dug by the miners. From this point one can follow the old minners trail along the ridge before droping into the head of Deadman Canyon and picking up the Elizabeth Pass trail. Views from this point are spectacular.
