| This picture was taken from the top of Chocolate peak looking towards Bishop Pass which is just above the snow patch below the triangular peak on the left. On the very lower right is a tiny portion of beautiful Long Lake. In the foreground is Ruwau Lake which can be reached either by two sides trails from the Bishop Pass trail. Before reaching Long lake an old trail makes a loop via the Chocolate Lakes or from part way along Long Lake a direct trail climbs to Ruwau Lake. An even older trail climbs up the slope on the west side of Ruwau Lake and reaches the TimberLine Tarns which are the small lakelets in front of Saddlerock Lake which is the large lake in the center. Just past Saddlerock you can just make out Bishop Lake |
