| The low point in the ridge is the west side of Black Giant Pass (12,200'+). This pass connects the eastern portion of Ionian Basin to the Muir trail south of Muir Pass. Although not easily discernible in the picture, there is a green area suitable for a campsite at the far end of the lake. |
