| Looking north from Steelhead Pass (12,080'+). Just past L Lake is the upper end of French Canyon. On the bench on the other side of the canyon are the Royce Lakes and further to the left is the bench that holds Merriam Lake. Just out of view to the right is the top of Pine Creek Pass. |
