From Minaret Lake the "High Route" climbs through a slot that exits above Cecile Lake. A very rough "trail" leads down past Cecile and Iceberg Lakes to a wooded bench. The wooded bench leads to a gap offering a view of the high meadowlands below the Banner-Ritter saddle. The "High Route" proceeds up to the tarn in this meadowlands and then turns and crosses the ridge to the upper Nydiver Lake.
