| Gardiner Basin is southwest of Mt. Clarence King. This picture was taken looking northwest from Sixty Lakes Col This col connects Gardiner Basin with the south end of Sixty Lakes Basin. Directly below is Lake 11,394. An abandoned trail starting from the west end of Charlotte Lake leads over Gardiner Pass and into the Gardiner Basin. Almost exactly a year earlier I took a picture from this same location. The difference between a heavy and light snow year is really quite remarkable. |
