| The direct route between the Davis Lakes and Martha Lake. This route pass just west of Mt. Goddard. Fairly easy walking, at least in a heavy snow year. This picture was taken in early August 1999. The only "guide book" mention of this route that I have found is in the 1972 edition of the "Mountaineer's Guide to the High Sierra" (a reference that I did not discover until almost a year later). |
